Ghazala Quraishi, MD 

Crescent Neurology and Sleep is the practice of Dr. Ghazala Quraishi, a pediatric neurologist and sleep physician.  She is double board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both Neurology with special qualifications in Child Neurology and in Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Quraishi was raised in Queens, NY.  Her clinical training began with 2 years of pediatric residency at Tod’s Children’s Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio (completed in 2002).  She spent an additional 3 years of Child Neurology residency at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio (completed 2005).  She then completed an additional 1 year fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Cleveland Clinic (completed 2006).  

Following her residency and fellowship training, Dr. Quraishi moved to Atlanta, GA, where she has been practicing Child Neurology and Sleep Medicine since 2006.  Prior to starting her own practice in 2018, Dr. Quraishi worked locally in other pediatric neurology and sleep clinics. She was also a consulting and admitting physician at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite and a consulting physician at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Northside Hospital Atlanta.  

Dr. Quraishi is a member of the professional staff at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Northside Hospital-Atlanta Campus, and Wellstar – North Fulton Hospital.  She is also a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Kelley Mauriello, FNP-C

Kelley Mauriello, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner that brings 20 years of experience in neurology.

Kelley was raised in the Atlanta area.  She began her professional education at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After graduation, Kelley returned to Atlanta to begin her career as a registered nurse at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – Scottish Rite Hospital.  She worked for several years as the clinical coordinator for the muscular dystrophy clinic, genetics clinic, and ENT clinic.

In 2005, Kelley earned her Masters of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner certification from Brenau University in Gainesville, GA. She then worked at a private internal medicine practice in the Atlanta area, before returning to her first love of pediatrics and neurology. 

Prior to joining Crescent Neurology and Sleep, Kelley worked locally at other pediatric neurology clinics, one of which she worked alongside Dr. Quraishi. 

Kelley proudly received her certification as an ADHD life coach through the International ADHD Life Coach Training Center in 2019. In addition to evaluation and treatment with medications, Kelley offers a “whole person” approach to ADHD offering encouragement and support to her patients.
