Our Process

Initial Consultation:

The time allotted for the visit is 30 minutes. During this time, you will have the opportunity to talk to your clinician about your concerns. A detailed history and physical examination will be performed. Based on the assessment, diagnostic testing might be ordered. If a treatment plan is prescribed, you will be given follow up instructions as well.

Sleep Studies

If a sleep study is recommended, we offer at home sleep testing for ages 18 years and older and also in-lab sleep testing in our AASM accredited sleep facility.

In lab studies: Upon arrival, patients are greeted by an experienced, child-friendly sleep technologist. Once the patient is settled, the technologist will apply the monitoring equipment and administer the study.

Sleep testing is available 7 days/week with flexible scheduling options to accommodate each patient’s typical sleep schedule. Most commercial insurance plans are accepted and there also is a self-pay option.

All studies are interpreted by Ghazala Quraishi, MD who is double board certified in Neurology, with special qualifications in Child Neurology and Sleep Medicine.

Lab Setting

Each room in the space-themed 3-bed sleep lab has a full-size adjustable bed for the patient, a separate twin bed for a caregiver if applicable, and adjustable thermostat control for maximum comfort. The lab has one shared bathroom. There is no shower on the premises.
