Comprehensive Neurological Care For Pediatric Patients

We evaluate and treat most neurological conditions from birth to age 18 years old. Some conditions treated are headaches, dizziness, muscle weakness, developmental delays, seizures, tic disorders, and ADHD.

The time allotted for the visit is 30 minutes. During this time, you will have the opportunity to talk to your clinician about your concerns. A detailed history and physical examination will be performed. Based on the assessment, diagnostic testing might be ordered. If a treatment plan is prescribed, you will be given follow up instructions as well.

Headaches & Dizziness

From diagnosis to treatment, we ensure that each patient receives a thorough evaluation to identify the underlying causes of their symptoms.

Seizures/Epilepsy

We employ advanced diagnostic testing determine treatments involving effective medication management and supportive therapeutic interventions.

Electroencephalography (EEG)

This non-invasive procedure used to diagnose seizures is offered in the office.

More Information

Before the EEG is started, small metal discs, called electrodes, are applied to the scalp by a trained technologist.  The application of the electrodes do not hurt and a parent is encouraged to stay with the child to ensure a comfortable environment.

During testing the child lies on a bed and is encouraged to sleep so we recommend arriving to the EEG test after being sleep deprived the night before.

Once the test is completed the family will go home and Dr. Quraishi will later follow up with the  results and further recommendations.

We also offer longer ambulatory monitoring if needed.

ADHD/ADD

Our compassionate team is dedicated to providing a thorough assessment and evidence-based treatment options tailored to each child’s specific needs.
